This Privacy Policy explains how ProjectPal collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this marketing website and request a demo. We designed ProjectPal to help service companies protect revenue from the first call to the final invoice — and we apply that same care to the information you share with us.

We collect a limited amount of information, including:

  • Information you submit. When you request a demo or contact us, we collect details you provide such as your name, email address, company, phone number, and the qualification answers you give us about your business.
  • Usage data. We may collect basic, non-identifying analytics about how visitors use this site, such as pages viewed and general device or browser information.
  • Cookies. The site may use cookies or similar technologies to support core functionality and, where enabled, analytics.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to demo requests and inquiries.
  • Contact you about ProjectPal, including scheduling and follow-up.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve this website.

Where we use cookies or analytics, we do so to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Analytics and non-essential cookies should be enabled only after this policy and any applicable consent requirements have been finalized with counsel.

4. Sharing of information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate this site and respond to your requests, and only as needed for those purposes. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data retention

We retain the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain our business records, and comply with our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information appropriately.

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

10. ProjectPal Mobile App

ProjectPal also offers a companion mobile app for iOS, "QDispatch Project Pal," used by employees and field technicians of companies that use ProjectPal. This section describes what the mobile app collects, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy.

Who the app is for

The app is used by employees and field technicians of companies that use ProjectPal (each, a "workspace"). Accounts are created by the company's administrator; there is no public sign-up, and individuals cannot create their own account.

Information the app collects

All of the information below is used only to provide the ProjectPal service, and it is linked to the user's account within their company's workspace. We collect:

  • Account details from the company workspace: name, email address, and role.
  • Customer, appointment, and job information the user views or updates while doing their work.
  • Precise location, used for:
    • Drive and mileage tracking, which can continue running in the background while a drive is being tracked.
    • Team location sharing, which is optional, turned on by the user, and active only while the app is open.
  • Audio recordings of appointments and their transcripts, only when the user starts a recording. Recordings are processed to create transcripts and AI-generated summaries.
  • Phone contacts, but only the specific contacts a user selects to import into the company's CRM. Nothing is imported without the user reviewing and choosing it first.
  • Photos or files the user attaches to a job.
  • Device and app information needed for sign-in, account security, and push notifications, such as a device identifier used to deliver notifications.
  • Crash and performance diagnostics, to help us find and fix problems with the app.

How we use this information

We use this information to provide the app and its features to the user and their company, generate the transcripts, summaries, and assistant answers a user requests, calculate mileage reports, keep accounts secure (including sign-in, two-factor authentication, and Face ID), and send work-related notifications.

What we don't do

We do not use mobile app data for advertising, we do not sell personal data, and we do not track users across other companies' apps or websites.

How this information is shared

Information collected through the app is stored within the user's company's ProjectPal workspace and is visible to that company according to the roles and permissions it assigns. We use service providers — including cloud hosting providers and AI/speech processing providers that generate transcripts and summaries — only to operate the ProjectPal service on our behalf.

Security

All communication between the app and ProjectPal uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Face ID sign-in data is managed by iOS and stays in the device's secure, on-device storage; we do not receive or store it.

Permissions and choices

You can turn off location, microphone, contacts, and notification access for the app at any time in iOS Settings. Team location sharing can also be turned off directly within the app.

Access, export, and deletion

You can request a copy of your data, or request deletion of your account and data, by emailing projectpal@qdispatch.com. The app also includes "Request Data Export" and "Delete My Data" options that open a pre-filled email to this address. Because your account belongs to your company's ProjectPal workspace, we may confirm certain requests with your company's administrator before completing them. We aim to respond within 30 days.
